The Hunhe River in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, is the place to rest and live for tens of thousands of migratory birds such as wild geese, ruddy shelducks, mandarin ducks and swans. They land, fly low, play in the water and look for food in groups on an unfrozen area of the river, forming the most beautiful scenery in the cold winter. The ever running Hunhe River is not only the mother river of Shenyang people, but also the home and stopover station for the birds, attracting a large number of migratory birds to migrate, live and breed here all year round.
