The changes of weather and wintering ground urged red-crowned cranes to fly back to Liaoning earlier for “family reunion” this year. These guests from afar, with their elegant body shapes and beautiful white feathers shining in morning light, having a rest and amusing with one another in reed pond, either hold their heads high to sing aloud or flap their wings to fly. An once-in-a-year visual feast of red-crowned cranes at Liaohe Estuary is now under way.
