Every spring and summer, there is a beautiful picture of “a flock of white egrets flies into the blue sky” presented in the Wazidian Reservoir, Dalian, Liaoning. In the warm breeze, herons come as expected. More than 700 herons of over 10 species gathered here this year. With the sound of chirping, flocks of herons are hovering, standing, playing or foraging, which is a spectacular scene. It is quiet around the reservoir in which there is sheer volume of water. The number of fish is increasing year by year for clear and sweet water, making the reservoir a paradise for herons to settle and breed.
