Hot summer brings the season for hoopoe birds to breed their chicks. In Shenyang Olympic Park, parent hoopoe birds are foraging in the woods and grass. Once catching worms, they fly back to feed baby birds in the nest. All parent hoopoe birds are flying up and down busily to raise their chicks. The hoopoe birds with coronet-shaped crests feed on worms, so that they are beneficial to agriculture and forestry. Hoopoe birds, with a wide distribution in China, are also common in Europe, Asia and North Africa.
