On May 21, more than 30 media guests from Belt and Road countries visited Liaoning International Communication Center (LICC) to learn about its diverse international communication products and enhance mutual understanding and cooperation.

The media guests from countries such as Iraq, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Nigeria, etc., and LICC’s journalists actively interacted, sharing their experiences and insights on new media platform operation and management. The guests highly praised the center’s commitment to building a multilingual international communication platform, and hoped to learn more about Northeast China’s Liaoning Province through this platform in the future.

The media guests showed a great interest in the center’s omnimedia project National Treasures in Liaoning. Utilizing cutting-edge media technology and mesmerizing 3D effects, the videos presented a virtual tour of the cultural relics and national treasures in Liaoning. The guests expressed their surprise, saying that Liaoning boasts a rich history and a brilliant culture, and LICC has provided a wonderful audio-visual feast for overseas audiences.

During the event, LICC’s journalists also showcased Liaoning’s splendid landscape, profound industrial culture, and intangible cultural heritages through video presentations. The media guests expressed their anticipation for future exchange activities with LICC, stating that there are numerous Chinese people actively engaging in construction projects in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), dedicating themselves to helping local people build a better home together. They hoped to convey these touching stories through media collaboration, showcasing the mutual trust, and the genuine friendship between Chinese people and people of BRI countries.
