From June 19th to 21st, the Three Northeast Provinces (which refer to Liaoning Province, Jilin Province and Heilongjiang Province in Northeast China) and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Worker Skills Competition and Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Revitalization Symposium was held at Liaoning Vocational College of Medicine. This event was hosted by Liaoning Federation of Trade Union, General Trade Union of Jilin Province, Heilongjiang Federation of Trade Union, General Trade Union of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and organized by General Trade Union of Benxi City and Liaoning Vocational College of Medicine.

The TCM industry is a key industry in the three northeast provinces and Inner Mongolia in China. At the Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Revitalization Symposium, TCM experts from Liaoning Province, Jilin Province, Heilongjiang Province, and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region jointly discussed the current situation and future development of the TCM industry. In addition, a TCM worker skills competition was also hosted, featuring three events: identification of TCM characteristics, authentication of genuine and counterfeit TCM, and microscopic identification of TCM. Furthermore, the participants had the opportunity to visit and learn from TCM enterprises, closely integrating the theory of TCM with practical application.

This conference has further promoted the exchanges and cooperation in the TCM industry in the three northeast provinces and Inner Mongolia in China, thus facilitating the high-quality development of the TCM industry.
