The dancers in white fluttered like sea elves, gracefully spinning against a backdrop of azure and gold. From August 21 to 23, a dance art exhibition themed “Sea Viewing·Reoccurrence” was performed along the seaside in Dalian, a coastal city in Northeast China’s Liaoning Province.
For three days and nights, from dawn to night, the beach of Dalian Sishi Jingyu Beach Resort Hotel transforms into a stunning stage. The dancers, accompanied by the waves, use their bodies as brushes and the mountains and seas as canvas, creating flowing philosophical poems. The “Sunset Stage” is especially captivating, as the warm evening glow adds a golden hue to the dancers’ bodies. The event brings together invited experts and local promising dancers, attracting many passionate dance students, their eyes shining as brightly as the sunset. “The opportunity to dance with the sea breeze is really rare,” one dancer remarked.
