On December 12, Liaoning International Ice and Snow Economy Cooperation Event was held in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. Over 300 government and business delegates from more than 20 countries including Japan, South Korea, Germany, France, as well as from China’s Hong Kong and Macao special administration regions, attended the event. The three-day event encompassed an ice and snow economy cooperation promotion and networking conference, a themed exhibition, a Liaoning-Europe ice and snow economic cooperation seminar, and ice and snow industrial tours.
During the promotion and networking conference, guests and enterprise representatives from ice and snow industry engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as ice and snow tourism, ice and snow sports, and ice and snow equipment manufacturing. Leveraging the platform provided by the event, participating enterprises conducted in-depth matchmaking based on their own development needs, expressing intentions and aspirations for further cooperation.
During the themed exhibition, over 200 key projects related to the ice and snow economy and more than 100 physical exhibits were displayed on site. Domestic and international guests were able to experience the unique features of the ice and snow economy in 14 cities across Liaoning Province. Through various means such as simulated experiences, physical interactions, and video presentations, guests can fully immerse themselves in the unique charm of Liaoning’s “warm snow and warm winter” and “inventive ways of spending winter”. Guests could also deeply experience innovative ice and snow consumption scenarios, including popular ice and snow activities, winter hot springs, and folk customs, enjoying the distinctive charm of the snowy northern region.
Next, Liaoning will further deepen cooperation and exchanges with countries around the world in the field of the ice and snow economy. It will upgrade ice and snow facilities, cultivate ice and snow events, and grow the ice and snow industry, in order to establish Liaoning’s winter economic and trade cooperation brand.
