The 2025 “Root-Seeking Journey to China” Winter Camp (Shenyang, Liaoning) kicked off on December 23. Forty overseas Chinese teenagers from Panama, Austria and the Czech Republic learned about Liaoning and participated in a series of immersive Chinese cultural activities, such as dumpling and mooncake making.

Over the 10-day program, through their immersive “root-seeking” experience, they will get a close-up view of Liaoning’s local customs and unique cultural charm, and gain a deeper understanding of China’s development and transformation.
