Recently, the #My2025MuseumTrip# campaign, jointly launched by “Weibo History” and “Wenbo Online Platform”, announced its results. The Liaoning Provincial Museum was selected onto the annual top 10 favorite museums list. Meanwhile, the museum’s national-treasure painting Court Ladies Adorning Their Hair with Flowers, and its Splendid Mountains and Rivers—Liao and Jin Dynasties Cultural Relics Themed Exhibition also ranked among the annual Top Artifacts and Top Exhibitions lists, respectively.

Splendid Mountains and Rivers—Liao and Jin Dynasties Cultural Relics Themed Exhibition featured 454 pieces (sets) of artifacts, marking the largest exhibition of Liao and Jin Dynasties artifacts ever held by the Liaoning Provincial Museum. Notably, many national first-class cultural relics were displayed in the exhibition for the first time. The exhibition adopted innovative display techniques to showcase the inclusiveness and diversity of Liao and Jin cultures, and further demonstrate the profundity and far-reaching influence of Chinese civilization.
Currently, Court Ladies Adorning Their Hair with Flowers is on display at the Liaoning Provincial Museum. Rendered with fine brushwork and vibrant colors, the masterpiece painting by the renowned Tang Dynasty painter Zhou Fang vividly depicts court ladies leisurely strolling in a courtyard. The figures were portrayed with gossamer-thin lines, characterized by delicate, graceful brushstrokes, and elegant, bright colors. This national-treasure painting is highly popular among museum enthusiasts, and draws visitors from both home and abroad each time it is exhibited at the museum.
