On June 26, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University welcomed 10 guests from North Carolina, a U.S. state that has established a sister province/state relationship with Liaoning Province. They traveled a long way to Shenyang, hoping to develop in-depth cooperation.
On campus, golden wild chrysanthemums bloom across the hillsides, and the medicinal plant garden exudes a refreshing herbal fragrance. Representatives from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University and Campbell University gathered here to discuss cooperative development, during which a symposium on talent cultivation, scientific research innovation, and faculty and student exchanges was held. On this basis, the two universities signed an inter-university cooperation agreement. Professors from Campbell University also delivered special lectures, and interacted with students from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, creating a lively academic exchange atmosphere.
The students and faculty from Campbell University visited the Chemical Raw Material Pharmaceutical Process Safety Assessment Platform and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Laboratory at Shenyang Pharmaceutical University. Through listening to explanations and having hands-on experiences, the guests from the US felt the unique charm of traditional Chinese medicine and developed a strong interest in its profound culture.
Dr. Michelle Flynn Osborne, Director of Risk Management Institute at Campbell University stated that Liaoning boasts profound cultural heritage, stunning scenery, and warm, friendly people, and that this visit to Liaoning was an unforgettable journey for her.
