A network has been gradually formed with Shenyang as the land hub and Dalian as the sea hub, integrating with west, middle and east passageways, and connecting the five ports of Manzhouli, Suifenhe, Horgos, Alashankou, and Erenhot. It spreads across EU countries, Russia, Central Asia, ASEAN, Japan and South Korea, and has achieved full coverage of the Russian and European railway networks. In 2022, the number of China-Europe freight trains operating on the return and departure trips increased by 51% compared with 2017, and the increasingly balanced transportation of two-way sources of goods has better promoted the virtuous cycle of trade.
