Recently, with the gradual resumption of manufacturing industries in Liaoning Province, the workers have been working day and night for domestic and export orders with a chorus of sounds from the tuned pianos in the workshop of Northeast Piano Instrument Co., Ltd. (past Northeast Piano Factory) with 70 years of history in Yingkou City.

Yingkou, together with Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, used to be one of the four greatest musical instrument industry bases across the whole country. Northeast Piano Factory also used to be one of the four greatest piano factories in China and the only all-round factory for piano production in Northeast China.
