On April 26, the Information Office of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government held a press conference, introducing the relevant information of the Second World Chinese Beauty Industry Conference.

With the theme “Beauty Connects the World”, this conference will take place from May 8 to 10 at the Dalian International Conference Center. It will feature six themed activities, including the World Chinese Beauty Industry Cultural Exchange and Development Forum and Skills Invitational Competition.

The opening ceremony will be held on the afternoon of May 9 at the main venue, Room 308 of the Dalian International Conference Center. On the same day, the main venue will also hold the World Chinese Beauty Industry Cultural Exchange and Development Forum, as well as a fashion show on the cultural origin of the Chinese hairdressing industry. From May 9 to 10, the “Earth Village” on the third floor of the Dalian International Conference Center will also hold the Beauty and Health Industry Expo, with an exhibition area of 4,800 square meters and over 100 companies participating. The expo covers six major fields including hairdressing, beauty, daily chemical products, medical cosmetology, health, new retailing, as well as manicure, eyelash beauty, and embroidery. In addition, during the conference, the first China Beauty Industry Northeast Homecoming Conference will also take place, inviting beauty industry professionals of Northeastern origin worldwide to return to their hometowns in Northeast China, to facilitate industry connections and investment, and to contribute to the revitalization of Northeast China and Liaoning Province through practical actions.

So far, beauty industry colleagues from 20 countries including the United States, France, the United Arab Emirates, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Italy have confirmed their participation, along with 28 delegations from other provinces and cities in China. On the day of the opening ceremony, it is expected that over 10 million Chinese beauty industry professionals and people from all walks of life will participate in the event online and offline.

It is reported that there are currently about 40 million Chinese beauty industry professionals worldwide, with 140,000 market entities and nearly 600,000 employees in Liaoning Province. The World Chinese Beauty Industry Conference aims to promote the international development of the Liaoning beauty industry, boost the quality and scale of the industry, and fully leverage its important role in stabilizing employment and promoting consumption.
