Huludao, located in the southwest, is the youngest city in Liaoning Province. It is known as “the First City Outside the Shanhaiguan Pass” and “the Back Garden of Beijing”. It is the west gate of Northeast China and the node city of the economic zones in the Northeast and North China. This place is rich in tourism resources, integrating city, spring, mountain, sea, and island. It is situated along the 265.2-kilometer cultural route of the Great Wall. The 1,704-meter long Jiumenkou Water Great Wall is the only one among the Great Wall and the first World Cultural Heritage Site in Northeast China. On the 85km coastline, there are Juehua Island, the largest one in Liaodong Bay, and the site of Jieshi Palace, where Qin Shi Huang stayed temporarily. The fine beach stretches for 52.1km.
