Bird Fossils National Geopark in Chaoyang City is the world’s largest biological fossil display site, covering an area of 600,000 square meters, equivalent to the size of 80 standard soccer fields. Its most striking feature is the fossil wood forest hidden among luxuriant cypresses and pines. With an area of 50,000 square meters, the fossil wood forest is the largest one across the globe at present, boasting more than 1,200 wood fossils.
