The construction of Cultural Sports Center in Shenhe District, known as the “bird nest” in Shenyang, has been completed recently. The sports center covers the area of about 98 thousand square meters, integrating multiple functions like sports, culture, recreation and entertainment. Five individual venues are connected together with steel structure and aluminium sheet, which looks like a blooming golden rose on the outside. Its unique appearance shows the modernity against the Shenyang ancient city. With the collision of classic and modern features, it is going to be the new landmark of the recreational and sports facility in east Shenyang.
