Calligraphy is a unique traditional art form in China. According to the characteristics and meanings of characters, they are written in corresponding calligraphy techniques, structures, and composition and turned into aesthetic artworks.
The art of calligraphy has a long and continuous history and is still loved by people today. Chinese characters have graceful forms and harmonious structures, which are aesthetically pleasing and full of charm. People can also enjoy their appeal in the process of writing and appreciating them.
The fascination of calligraphy is reflected not only in the strokes but also in the form, thickness, and strength. The combination of many factors, such as square and round, straight and curved, long and short, thick and thin, rich and pale, strong and weak, fast and slow, dense and sparse, solid and empty, oblique and vertical, hard and soft, created the art of calligraphy that has been passed down for thousands of years.
Recently, 30 international students from Liaoning University, Shenyang Aerospace University, and Shenyang University of Chemical Technology picked up ink brushes to learn to write the Chinese character “Fu” in different ways, experiencing the “beauty of calligraphy” and the charm of Chinese traditional culture.
