As China’s visa-free “circle of friends” continues to expand, overseas social media has set off a “China Travel” craze, attracting numerous foreign tourists to enter China for traveling. Northeast China’s Liaoning Province has sparked buzz in the craze, and its number of visa-free entries by foreign nationals has risen sharply. In the first half of 2024, Liaoning’s airport ports logged a total of 12,000 visa-free entries, and 400 144-hour visa-free transits by foreign nationals, up 6269% and 510% year on year respectively, maintaining a sustained growth trend.
