In the Liaohe River Estuary National Nature Reserve, heavy machinery is cleansing and smoothing the wetland restoration area. This revitalized wetland has not only welcomed an influx of “wetland sprites” but has also emerged as the new home for spotted seals, black-billed gulls, red-crowned cranes, and various other rare wild species.
