To provide citizens and tourists with a richer travel experience, Shenyang Metro has recently launched brand-new creative spaces in its metro stations—“Shenyang Metro Art Space” and “Shenyang Metro Fun Store”. This not only satisfies the needs of citizens and tourists for diverse metro culture, but also further enhances the cultural connotation of Shenyang Metro.
The “Shenyang Metro Fun Store” located at Exit B of Shenyang University Station on Metro Line 4 is a creative space that integrates diverse experiences, such as cultural creative product shopping, photographing and seal collecting. The store showcases a great variety of original metro-themed cultural creative peripheral products, as well as cultural creative brands co-branded by cherished artists. These products are not only designed delicately, but also incorporate Shenyang Metro elements, providing citizens and tourists with more opportunities to interact with Shenyang Metro.
At Exit H of Tiexi Square Station of Metro Lines 1 and 9, a striking orange art gallery leaps to the eyes, which is the “Shenyang Metro Art Space”. An exhibition of paintings themed “Northeast China is My Hometown” is on display here. The painting works were created by local trendy artists in Shenyang, depicting Shenyang’s cityscape from different perspectives and forms. When taking the metro, citizens and tourists can admire these exquisite paintings and experience Shenyang’s urban culture.
