On December 21, the Third Symposium for Doctoral Candidates Majoring in International Chinese Language Education was held at Liaoning Normal University in Dalian City. This symposium was hosted by the National Steering Committee for Professional Postgraduates Majoring in International Chinese Language Education, and organized by Liaoning Normal University.

The symposium drew more than 30 doctoral students from over 10 universities across China, and noted international Chinese language education experts. They discussed and exchanged views on topics such as “Chinese+” related issues, international Chinese language education teacher training and teaching resources, as well as international Chinese language education in the context of digital intelligence. Experts from Beijing, Tianjin, Jinhua, and Dalian delivered keynote speeches based on the current situation of their local international Chinese language education doctoral student cultivation, demonstrating the cultivation quality and academic level of international Chinese language education doctoral students in various places.

Conforming to the contemporary demand for cultivating high-level and application-oriented talents in international Chinese language education, this symposium innovates the form of academic study, and has an effect on promoting the talent cultivation and academic innovation development of international Chinese language education.
