Zhangzidao Island in Changhai County, Dalian City, Liaoning Province,  is renowned for its picturesque scenery, while the winding and verdant roads around the island serve as the “string” that connects these attractions like beautiful “pearls”.

In 2023, the county-level roads of Zhangzidao Island (Dongda Road, Danan Road, and Daxiao Road) were selected as one of the monthly “Top 10 Most Beautiful Rural Roads” in the nationwide competition organized by the Ministry of Transport.
