The Sino-French collaborative shadow puppet drama Starfish will be staged at Shengjing Grand Theatre in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, on July 29. The audience can enjoy a fairy-tale world through various artistic forms such as puppetry, dances, multimedia and live music.

Adapted from the eponymous full-length fairy tale by the renowned author Zhou Xiaofeng, the Sino-French collaborative shadow puppet drama Starfish is a co-creation of Chinese and French artists. It tells the extraordinary journey of a pair of twin star brothers in the sky, who bravely go to the sea for their dreams and love, and turn into big fish.
