With the Spring Festival just around the corner, the Hongqi Folk Market in Yingkou, Liaoning Province is buzzing with festive vibes! A group of Russian kids recently stopped by for an immersive dive into Chinese traditions.

From wandering through the stalls to watching sugar paintings come to life, they did it all! They even tried their hand at pounding rice cakes, and couldn’t get enough of local delicacies like pan-fried Spanish mackerel.
