Laurent from Chad and Justine from Spain, two international students in Shenyang Jianzhu University, have devoted themselves to the study of ancient Chinese wooden architecture.

In their eyes, traditional mortise and tenon structure, traditional Chinese timber-frame architecture, and the harmonious coexistence of modern cities and nature fully embody the Chinese philosophies of “following the laws of nature” and “harmonious coexistence”, revealing the extraordinary wisdom and stunning beauty of ancient Chinese architecture.
