Chaoyang Folk Embroidery is a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage of Liaoning. Using hand-woven fabric as the base, artisans employ more than 20 stitching techniques. The embroidery adorns daily items and festival pieces such as tiger-head hats, dudou (bellybands), and birthday scrolls.
