The smew, a national second-class protected animal, has appeared on the Hunhe River in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Known as the “Panda Duck” for its striking black-and-white plumage resembling a giant panda, this rare bird species adds a touch of liveliness to the riverside in spring.
