The football craze in Northeast China is going global! On May 16, an international friendly match titled “Green Pitch, No Borders: Together for the Northeast City Football League (NCFL)” kicked off in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Members of the foreign consular community in Shenyang, representatives of foreign-funded enterprises, and other Chinese and foreign players gathered on the pitch, sharing the charm of football.

After the match, one foreign participant exclaimed, “It was such a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere on the field was fantastic, and the enthusiasm of the Liaoning people is unstoppable! Even though we don’t speak the same language, our hearts are connected.” Another foreign participant remarked, “I’ve truly felt the vibrant spirit of Liaoning football. Regardless of nationality or profession, passion unites us all.”
