A recent video featuring @Dawood in China, a Pakistani international student at Northeastern University, and Somali internet celebrity Yi Bo shopping and cooking together has gone viral.

Wearing helmets, the two wandered through a supermarket. Yi Bo was quickly recognized by passers-by. He also impressed viewers with how effortlessly he used China’s tap-to-pay mobile payment system.

Their cross-border cooking session was filled with joy and warmth. Dawood taught Yi Bo how to make Pakistani chapati and curry beef step by step, laughter echoing through the whole kitchen.
