On May 28, Liaoning’s first “TIR+Sea-Road Intermodal Transport” shipment was launched. 100 TIR vehicles departed from Shanhai Square in Bayuquan, Yingkou, Liaoning Province, commencing international freight transport.

The TIR system achieves convenient cross-border delivery with “no inspection, no container opening, and door-to-door service”. Goods are temporarily stored and sorted at Yingkou Port’s transit warehouse before being shipped overland to Russia, Central Asia, and various regions of Europe.
