The Northeast City Football League (NCFL) is now in full swing, delivering an exciting football experience to fans. Having watched the match, Kameni, a Cameroonian international student at Liaoning University, was deeply impressed by the electrifying atmosphere and the fans’ pure passion for football. He expressed his admiration for and appreciation of grassroots football in Northeast China.

Kameni has loved football since childhood. He started playing with friends at the age of five or six. Now pursuing his studies in Shenyang, he sees football as a bridge to make friends here. Even with language barriers upon arriving in Shenyang, he made quite a few local friends thanks to their shared passion for football. Beyond playing side by side on the pitch, they often gather to watch matches and share meals, gradually growing from football teammates into close friends in daily life.

Watching the NCFL match on-site, Kameni truly experienced the distinctive down-to-earth spirit of football in Northeast China. In his view, the NCFL brings simple, pure joy to ordinary people and unites football enthusiasts of all backgrounds through their shared love for football. Kameni expressed a heartfelt wish: “I also want to play in the Northeast City Football League.”
