Tieling Fanhe New Town is known as “top water town in Northeast China”. Water and river serve as the soul of the city. The Liaohe River, Fanhe River, Tianshui River, Ruyi Lake and Lianhua Lake make the water surface area 15.7% of the urban area. The boats shuttling back and forth in the rivers have become a landmark sight of the city.
