Every spring in Liaodong Bay, one of the three bays in the Bohai Sea sees scenes: spotted seals, known as the “elves of Liaodong Bay”, are crawling on their squirming forelimbs and upper bodies on the land reefs. The cute stumbling spotted seals come here to breed and nurse their pups every year thanks to the plentiful food and favorable environment.
