Panjin:Wild Red-Crowned Cranes Dance in the Reeds

As an international wetland city, Panjin of Liaoning boasts wetlands ranking the third largest wintering grounds for wild red-crowned cranes in China. In winter, the wetlands of Liaohe River estuary sees a large area of withered yellow reeds on which clusters of gray reed flowers blossom. Flocks of wild red-crowned cranes dance in the reeds and on the ice, adding a unique charm to the vast wetlands.
