Located at the confluence of Liaohe River, Hunhe River and Taizihe River, Sanchahe Wetland Nature Reserve in Haicheng is within the scope of Liaohe River Delta wetlands, with a total area of 20,723 hectares. It is not only a valuable gene pool of species of nature and a habitat for rare wildlife, but also an important stop on the main migration route of three major migratory birds in Northeast Asia. Every April and October is the time when the reserve has the largest number of birds.
