On August 23, the Information Office of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government held a press conference to provide an overview of the China International Equipment Manufacturing Expo 2023 (CIEME).

The China International Equipment Manufacturing Expo 2023 is scheduled to take place at the Shenyang International Exhibition Center from September 1 to 5. With the theme of “Building a Global Manufacturing Ecosystem with Innovation, Collaboration, and Collective Advancement”, CIEME 2023 encompasses two pivotal components: exhibition showcases and the Global Manufacturing Summit. Currently, all aspects of preparation for the expo are in full swing, with every effort being made to ensure its success.

Covering an exhibition area of 110,000 square meters, CIEME 2023 features 11 major exhibition zones. The number of participating companies is expected to exceed 1,000, with an estimated attendance of over 150,000 visitors throughout the event.

The Global Manufacturing Summit, as a pivotal component of CIEME 2023, stands out as a major innovation for this expo. The summit features a main forum, 14 sub-forums, and 6 parallel events.

For this expo, Mr. Konstantin Novoselov, the 2010 Nobel Laureate in Physics, has been invited. This marks the first participation of a Nobel Prize laureate in the expo’s history. Additionally, the expo has extended invitations to over 20 esteemed domestic and international academicians from more than ten countries and regions, including the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, and Singapore, among others. The distinguished lineup of guests sets a new historical precedent.

CIEME 2023 has invited distinguished representatives from renowned global enterprises in the manufacturing sector to exhibit and participate, including Fortune Global 500 companies such as Omron, Schneider, Huawei, Lenovo, etc.

Furthermore, CIEME 2023 will bring together a multitude of cutting-edge intelligent manufacturing equipment from both domestic and international fronts. It aims to bridge existing gaps in lean and intelligent manufacturing products at a global level. The event will feature a concentrated display of over 100 advanced manufacturing technology solutions on-site, covering industries such as automobile and parts manufacturing, rail transit, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery, and general machinery.
