On May 28, the Information Office of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government held a press conference, presenting the relevant information of the “Work Safety Month” and the “Work Safety Liaoshen Campaign” in the province this year.

The 2024 “Work Safety Month” will take place from June 1 to June 30, with the theme of “Promoting Safety Awareness and Emergency Response: Keep the Emergency Exit Unblocked”.

During this period, Liaoning will further promote the “Five Entries” safety publicity efforts—entering enterprises, where they will organize employees to learn and apply well the standards for identifying major accidents and potential dangers and carry out evacuation and escape drills; entering rural areas, where they will conduct safety popularization education on rural self-built houses to enhance residents’ awareness of housing safety; entering communities, where they will launch the “Door-to-Door Safety Delivery” promotion activity, focusing on popularizing knowledge related to “Keep the Emergency Exit Unblocked”; entering schools, where they will integrate safety education into daily teaching, investigate potential hazards, and conduct evacuation and escape training and drills; and entering households, where they will guide home safety inspections and familiarize people with emergency escape routes.

The “Work Safety Liaoshen Campaign” will be launched simultaneously with “Work Safety Month” and will be concluded at the end of this year. Liaoning will extensively publicize the achievements of key measures for work safety and the deeds of advanced individuals, strengthen alerting education and exposure of problems and potential hazards, and popularize knowledge about work safety and emergency management.
