On February 12, the 2025 Spring Festival Yangko Performance was staged in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. Along the 2.2-kilometer route from Chaoyang South Railway Station to Binhe West Street, lively rhythms of gongs and drums, colorful floats, distinctive Yangko teams and enthusiastic crowds created a joyous and harmonious festive atmosphere.

Chaoyang Yangko, also known as “Chaoyang Shehuo”, was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage expansion projects in 2005. Today, Chaoyang Yangko remains vibrant with its unique makeup, costumes and diverse performance forms.
