Black-faced spoonbills, classified as an endangered waterbird species under first-class national protection in China, were observed at a wetland in Zhuanghe County-level City, Liaoning Province. Zhuanghe serves as a key breeding habitat where approximately 400 black-faced spoonbills have been observed since 2024.
