The final results of the “Second Cultural Heritage Study Tour Top Ten Projects and Top Ten Routes Promotion and Display Activities” were recently announced. The Liaoning Provincial Museum’s innovative study tour project “Collaborative Research for the Future” won the title of “Top Ten Cultural Heritage Study Tour Projects”, which is the only selected project among the three northeastern provinces of Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang.
This project was jointly submitted by the Liaoning Provincial Museum, Liaoning Zhouyou Liebo Cultural and Creative Co., Ltd., and New Oriental Wokaide (Liaoning) Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd. It is an important practice of the Liaoning Provincial Museum in promoting museum-school-enterprise collaborative education.
The project “Collaborative Research for the Future” has leveraged the museum’s abundant cultural relic resources and exhibitions. Through multi-dimensional measures such as transforming high-quality resources, deepening museum-school-enterprise cooperation, accelerating technological empowerment, and building a cultural network, it has created a series of study tour activities with cultural depth and contemporary vitality, including “Botan Yaji”, “Encountering National Treasures”, “AI-Powered Smart Guides”, and “Cloud Classrooms”. These activities have not only expanded the breadth and depth of study tours, but also realized an educational upgrade from “entering the museum” to “immersing oneself in great culture”.

Winning this award is a significant breakthrough for the Liaoning Provincial Museum. The project “Collaborative Research for the Future” has not only attained innovation in the curriculum system, cooperation model, and sci-tech application, but also achieved remarkable results in carrying forward excellent traditional Chinese culture, optimizing social education resources for adolescents, and enhancing the museum’s social influence, becoming a model for promoting the high-quality development of cultural heritage study tours.
In the future, the Liaoning Provincial Museum will continue to deepen the “collaborative research” mechanism, and expand the boundaries of study tours, aiming to bring cultural relics to life, promote cultural education outreach, and contribute more high-quality project cases to cultural heritage study tours.
