At the Tachixigou Site in Fuxin, Liaoning Province, archaeologists discovered a unique stone carving engraved with patterns on both sides: one side resembles flowing water, while the other features the face of an owl. This nearly 8,000-year-old “double-faced carving” serves as physical evidence of early cultural integration in western Liaoning.
