Dalian enjoys a gentle breeze and sunny sky. Over 20 kilometers from the coastline of Zhuanghe in Dalian, the Yellow Sea is dotted with more than 300 towering “wind turbines”, each standing at about a hundred meters high, whose massive wind turbine blades continue to spin. Currently, Zhuanghe has four offshore wind power projects connected to the grid, with an annual electricity generation capacity of up to 2.73 billion kilowatt-hours.
