The 2024 Summer Davos Forum will be held at the Dalian International Conference Center from June 25 to 27, marking the eighth “handshake” with Dalian after a five-year interval.
The theme of this year’s annual meeting is “Next Frontiers for Growth”. The event will gather over 1,500 guests from government, business, civil society and international organizations. They will engage in over 200 panel discussions to share insights and propose solutions, with a focus on the theme as well as six major topics, namely, a new global economy; China and the world; entrepreneurship in the age of AI; new frontiers for industries; investing in people; and connecting climate, nature and energy.
During the previous Summer Davos Forum held in Dalian in 2019, a total of 2,066 delegates from 101 countries and regions worldwide attended the meeting, of whom nearly 70% were foreigners and nearly 60% were business leaders.
It is reported that the preparations for this year’s meeting are currently underway in an orderly manner.
