On June 28, the Information Office of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government held a press conference, presenting and interpreting the Work Plan for the Coordinated Quality Improvement of Key Industrial and Supply Chains.

To further build its strength in product quality, Liaoning has recently issued the Work Plan for Coordinated Quality Improvement of Key Industrial and Supply Chains Represented by Industrial Robots in Liaoning. The plan covers a total of 16 key industries, including industrial robots, hydrogen energy, petrochemicals, and wild ginseng. It is divided into five sections: the basic information of the industrial chain, the quality and relevant issues of the industrial chain, the work content, the plan for the establishment of quality improvement training bases, and the expected economic and social benefits.

Among them, the industrial robot supply chain focuses on addressing issues such as improving the accuracy of speed reducers and servo-systems, optimizing the quality control of integrated machines, and developing standards and metering technological specifications for key processes. A comprehensive solution for quality fundamentals will be constructed, corresponding standards and specifications will be formulated, inspection and testing systems for integrated machines will be established, and implementation rules for machine safety certification will be developed. The reliability and quality of the industrial chain in the midstream and upstream sectors are expected to significantly increase, with an estimated increase in output value of 280 million yuan.

In the wild ginseng industry chain, efforts will be made to strengthen the control of raw materials and product quality for wild ginseng. Key enterprises will be supported in the diversified development of wild ginseng products, including medicine, health products, food, and cosmetics, promoting the integration of the wild ginseng industry with cultural tourism and health industries, and establishing a processing cluster for authentic medicinal materials in Liaoning. In the next step, a number of quality problems that hinder the development of the industry will be resolved, and a group of leading enterprises in quality and innovative standards will be fostered. The quality management level, brand value, market share, and core competitiveness of key industries will be significantly enhanced.
