The Ice and Snow Season Tourism Festival in Liaoning is a festive gathering rich in content, spectacular in scale, with a large number of participants, and strongly characterized by northern China’s traditions.

At the launch ceremony of the Sankuaishi Ice and Snow Carnival in Fushun County, spectacular programs such as a large-scale laser show, the intangible cultural heritage performance of “Da Tie Hua” (molten iron fireworks), and drone aerial performances were staged, dazzling the audience with bright lights and a lively atmosphere, and earning continuous cheers.

Tourists enjoyed playing in the snow at the ski resort and snow-themed amusement park, taking photos under the colorful lanterns, selecting local specialties and tasting delicious foods at various stalls. The scene was bustling with noise and excitement.

The “Ice and Snow Tourism Season” has arrived as scheduled, and a series of activities such as ice and snow sports, culture, and arts will be presented in turn, offering visitors an interesting and enriching ice and snow festival.

This year, Fushun County of Fushun City, has created eight ice and snow-themed scenarios, including the Sankuaishi “Sweet Kingdom” Themed Ice and Snow Carnival, the “Shanshuiyi” Snow Sculpture Rose Square in Shangma Town, the “Ice and Snow Forest Fairy Tale World” with a kilometer-long snow trail on Tiannyu Mountain, the Joyous Snow-Playing Area in Shiwen Town’s Pear Blossom Valley, the Ice Fishing and Snow-Playing Field at Guanshan Reservoir, the “Shanyushu” Ice and Snow Themed Boutique Homestay in Shangma Town, the “Ruizeyuan” Snow-Playing Themed Boutique Homestay in Tangtu Manchu Ethnic Township, and the “Yaoxian” Valley Ice and Snow Folk-Custom Farmhouse in Tangtu Manchu Ethnic Township, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the fun of playing in the snow.
