Founded in 1930, Dalian Bingshan Group Co., Ltd. has now established itself as a leading enterprise in China’s refrigeration and air conditioning industry. Its predecessor, Dalian Refrigeration Factory, has become a collective memory and eternal pride of the Dalian people. The development of Bingshan Group is a testament to the changes of the times.

Four generations of Qu Wei’s family have worked at Bingshan Group, including his grandfather and mother who both worked at Dalian Refrigeration Factory. After a relocation, the former factory has been transformed into the brand-new “Bingshan Wisdom Park”.

The Polar Bear Ice Sports Center, located within the park, is the first low-carbon ice sports venue using CO₂ five-in-one heating and refrigerating technology in China, and also an ice rink independently designed, manufactured, constructed, and innovated by Bingshan Group’s Winter Olympic Ice and Snow Team. Since its opening, the sports center has undertaken various professional training programs and mass ice and snow activities, allowing more people to revel in the joy of ice sports.

The old factory has been rejuvenated, with the old site now becoming a new landmark. The “Dalian Refrigeration” that once nourished the city of Dalian continues to pass on the “Lineage of Ice” in the new era, inspiring a new generation of “Bingshan people” to create more brilliance.
