Recently, at the invitation of the Dance Academy and the International Exchange Center of Shenyang Conservatory of Music, and Consulate General of the Republic of France in Shenyang, Julien Lestel, director of the Julien Lestel Ballet and professor of the National Ballet of Marseille in France, arrived in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province, to embark on an in-depth dialogue for cross-cultural dance art creation.

The contemporary dance choreography workshop jointly organized by the French choreographer Julien Lestel and the Dance Academy of Shenyang Conservatory of Music is a conducive attempt in international dance exchange and education of Shenyang, Liaoning Province under the “Plateau | Dance Magic” contemporary dance promotion plan. The fruits of this cross-border artistic cooperation will be displayed and exchanged during the 19th Croisements Festival. To celebrate International Dance Day on April 29, the Dance Academy will also showcase the creation achievements of the workshop cooperation and the touring works of a French Touring Art Festival on the same stage.
