In Dalian, a group of specialized, sophisticated, distinctive, and innovative “Little Giant” enterprises has emerged and thrived, expanding new spaces for the industrial development of Northeast China’s old industrial base.

In recent years, Dalian has cultivated and supported science and technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises to pursue specialized, sophisticated, distinctive, and innovative development through measures such as providing policy support, improving service systems, enhancing typical demonstrations, and optimizing the development environment. In 2024, Dalian added 14 new national-level specialized, sophisticated, distinctive, and innovative “Little Giant” enterprises.
