Pang Boyang, born in Liaoyang, Liaoning Province, is the founder of the Zhiwa Daotian brand. Her handmade fabric artworks, deeply rooted in the folk culture of Northeast China, have been receiving an increasing number of orders, and even expanded their presence at the Licensing Expo China (LEC) and the Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany.

“A foreign client held our auspicious doll, repeatedly saying ‘cute,’ and discussed cooperation with us,” said Pang Boyang. “It was then that I realized our traditional craftsmanship from Northeast China can truly go global.”
